People who are trying to get work done but cant because people are blowing whistles in the hallways have a right to complain.
So don't go blowing whistles in the hallways or I'll bite your leg off. Spirit is important, but there is a time and a place for it, and the pits are not it.

What is the point..
 

Of having noise makers that doesn't make any type of LOUD noise.. Because if you play it the way the rulebook said it, someone could get mad at your jinglebells, and we all know that if you get the right person mad, it can ruin everything..

Oh.. I have never been to a competition before.. But I have heard so much about the MOEstixs AND I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO DOING THE CHEER ALONG WITH YOU GUYS..

As for the cowbells.. Moooooo.. ;)

if they're bring the stix, then we are bringing the bells. I LOVE MOESTIX! they were cool. In fact, we still have some from last competition when we were on alliance with MOE. BUt we will TRY not to annoy people and etc. Though, I don't see the difference between bells and stix and yelling? oh well. maybe i am ignorant.

the way i see it, there is no way in HELL you can stop the noise in the pit.... lots of people shouting, getting robots working, drilling, hammering, sawing, blah blah, equals noise (period, everytime, no exceptions)

now if your going to bring the bells and the noise sticks, I support you, in fact, i want one (anyone see team 555? throw me a bone), but respect the people who ask you to leave, 'cause there are somethings that a wistle in your ear could ruin (soddering, for one)

gracious professonalism, let people make noise and they'll respect your need for quite when you need it

I remember having to scout, and a few MOE people being behind me with their stix. I'm not complaining, I understand it was all in team spirit, but those things sure are loud. :D I agree that there is a time and a place for loud obnoxious things. I know our team did it...
