[b]Yeah, but isn't Dave the Krispy Kreme King??

I suggest everyone search the NASA web site for more proof of DL as the KK King.

If you look closely at some of the Mars Rover pictures, you will clearly see that the wheels are two year old glazed doughnuts.

Not only do KK's taste great, they are also functional.

If I recall correctly from the NASA/MD competition.. not only Dave, but team 116 were Krispy Kreme Kings????

MissInformation 21-01-2003 23:03

Okay, I just spent the last five minutes laughing, but now I have to yell at you for getting me in trouble with Dave! Trust me, I don't need any help in that area. If you guys had seen the look Dave gave me tonight in regards to this thread you would be apologizing to me right now! But Dave can't be too mad, it's not like it's one of the modified photos I've done of him, or the Krispy Kreme Fairy Tale or anything... (all of which have been posted on this site in the past year ;) ) I mean, all I did was take the photo and insist... er... suggest it would be a good one for the website...

No, that was one of mine... wait a minute, you're giving me a chance to get out of trouble... so sure, Eric took it. Yep, that bad Eric.

Thanks, Wetzel! You know, it's not hard to get funny, I mean good, pictures of Dave... This one is one of my favorites of this season so far: Dave photo So what do you think he's thinking?

I am not sure that Dave is thinking in this photo. I think he may be tasting the last of the glaze from his most recent KK donut.

More pictures and more proof of the KK addictions:

This is me, then Carolyn, then of course Dave....this was after our trip to KK at Nats where Dave bought 10 dozen, I bought 2 dozen, and some un-named TechnoKat had just purchased 12 dozen....all of them were gone within 15 minutes of arriving at the pits.

Girlfriend, You just keep getting yourself in deeper and deeper.

A: Has he lost weight?

B: If yes to "A", Has he betrayed the KK club and stopped eating the perfect food product?

C: Considering your past history for posting pictures of our friend who likes to surreptitiously torture unsuspecting patrons of public transportation; I'll bet he's thinking about a banana cream pie (or equivalent) that will soon make contact with a certain photographer's face.

D: He, heh.......Could I have a picture of that?

Insurance. That's the key to this whole thing. I am not silly enough to think my insurance covers all things, however, I hope no one is silly enough to think I only have one policy.

So here I sit saying over and over, "I know I shouldn't do this, I know I shouldn't do this..." but I cannot keep the secret any longer. I think everyone admires and respects Dave, and why not, after all, isn't he someone to admire and respect? Well, along with being the Krispy Kreme King and apparently now the Beef Stick King, Dave is also the Man Of Steel (seriously, ask him how much steel is in his basement). He's faster than last year's robot, more powerful than a Krispy Kreme donut and able to eat giant beef sticks with one hand, look, it's an engineerbot, it's a clone, it's... it's SuperDave!

Dave,

I am sorry that so many of you friends (sic) are ready to dump on you. You are more than welcome to join Team 64. The Gila Monsters would love to have an intelligent, good natured, suave fellow such as you as a member of our team.

PS Dave, many of the adults on our team are thinning. Would you mind donating hair for transplants

PPS Dave, could you bring lots of KK Donuts with you. We are partial to the glazed. :yikes:

dlavery 25-01-2003 03:44

At last! A message in this whole silly #%^*%^ thread that is actually worth a response! Ken - I would be honored to become a Gila Monster. If I do, does that mean that someone on the team will PLEASE teach me the Gila Dance?!??? Will gladly trade hair in exchange. And I will bring Krispy Kremes.

p.s. for the rest of you, I hope you won't mind that you won't be hearing from Heidi for a while. It seems that she is about to have an unfortunate accident involving lemon pudding, red suspenders, three live chickens, an empty 50-gallon oil drum, and a 75-pound slab of SPAM.

Oh goody, goody! May I help?

Nothing personal Heidi.....

It's just that, with my upbringing in a practical joking family, I find it very hard to resist. My father and I just completed a project where we set up a crime scene in a neighbors yard while they were out of town. Now we're bored. Also (and I am not sucking up here), thanks to all the pictures that were posted, I think Dave's kinda cute!

SPAM, you say?

I think you're one of us now, Davey. :D

Okay, I understand the lemon pudding, empty oil drum, slab o' SPAM and the chickens, but what are the red suspenders for?

Binding the wounds. Those chickens can do a lot of damage, and you need something to hold the Spam in place afterwards.
