drill motor

Has any team's new drill motors come broken? Team 314's drill motors came with the plastic brush holder's broken.

Yeah I know those brush leads are %%%%. They break very easily when any force is applied to them. The odd fact is that the motors still work broken.

yeah, we've had the same type of problem with our drill motors. last night when we were driving one of the brushes came off and destroyed all the fan blades and broke the plastic piece that holds it in

now show me a picture of the wire leads. Hmm shock mounting the motors is probably a must.

One of our drill motors are broken too. What are you guys doing about?

Gadget470 25-01-2003 12:38

The back clip snapped apart when a very minimal force was applied by one of the mentors reattaching a connector.

BillyGoats 25-01-2003 13:53

Yes, walter_jr i agree. No problems here. Hrmm your drive train looks very similar to our =p.

Walter_Jr 25-01-2003 13:57

I think they are just not being careful with the motors..... we dropped one and it still worked.. thnk god...

BillyGoats 25-01-2003 14:03

Ours broke when a mentor was pushing a connector on. The motor still works, but the tab on the back is b0rk3d

Walter_Jr 25-01-2003 14:28

We left the wires that came with it on it... I don't know why you would want to change the wires anyways

Your supposed to because the wires aren't the proper gauge.
