Innovation First Site Down
ok, i'm sitting here trying to get to the innovationfirst.com site, and it's not working. i've heard that there was a MS SQL worm, and that Dallas was the worst hit, and from what i remember, Innovation First is in Texas, but i'm not sure how far from Dallas.
if anyone has the current OI documentation saved, could you please point me to it? we're trying to make a competition port dongle to control the robot in autonomous mode, but well, it's hard when you don't have a pinout (even a partial one). i'm sorry if this has been covered tons of other places, but anything i've found is for last year's OI, not documenting the autonomous pin. |
Yeah, Greenville (where IFI is located) is about 50 miles away from Dallas ...
I was just ready to sumbit a fairlylarge order from them and I lost it. :( - Katie |

Need pin guides for OI Inputs and RC Digital Inputs
The innovation FIRST Site is down, and i am in desperate need of the pin-guides for both the OI input ports, and the robot controller digital input port. If anyone has these, PLEASE HELP!

There's a picture of the digital pinout in the RC in the bottom, the OI Port is explained below:
In the four ports, it works like that: Pin 1 +5V Aux (Fuse F2) [2,3] Pin 2 Joystick Trigger Switch Pin 3 X-Axis Pin 4 Ground Pin 5 -- See below -- Pin 6 Y-Axis Pin 7 Joystick Thumb Switch Pin 8 -- See below -- Pin 9 -- See below -- Pin 10 Aux Switch1 Pin 11 Aux Analog Pin 12 Ground Pin 13 Wheel Pin 14 Aux Switch2 Pin 15 -- See below -- Below - :D Pins 5, 8, 9 and 15 are different for each port. For ports 1 and 3, they work as feedback LED's. For ports 2 and 4, they are the same as some switches in port 1 and 3. For example, pin 5 in port 2 is the same as pin 2 in port 3 (p3_sw_trig). If you need the pinout for those too, ask here. |

Quote:
http://kevin.org/robot_controller_reference_guide.pdf and a copy of the OI Ref here: http://kevin.org/operator_interface_reference_guide.pdf These are sitting on my home server, where I have limited (128Kb/s) outgoing bandwidth. Please don't download it unless you really need it. In a few hours you should be able to get all of the files from here: http://www.cvhsrobotics.org/resources.htm. The page works, but the links won't because my work server is currently down. -Kevin |
I just brought my work server back up, so if you need documentation, I probably have it cached here:
