Inventor Graphics Issues
 

I'm having trouble running Autodesk Inventor 6. It starts up but once you try to start a new document the window pups up, but has no background. It then hangs.

My Computer Setup:

2.53ghz PIV
512MB Ram
128MB Radeon 9700 Pro
Windows XP Pro

Has anyone had any problems like this or know of any compatability isses with a Radeon.

Suspect Graphics Card Driver
 

Check the Autodesk website about compatibility between Inventor 6 and your Graphics Adapter.

I realised what is wrong. For some reason - when running a Radeon card - the settings have to be set at 16-bit. Now it works fine.

Thanks or the info, I just got a new computer with the same video card, and im gonna install Inventor soon. Now I know what to look for =)
