did Niobi and her crew die?
was that thier ship that got blown up by the sentinels?

No, Niobe was the other ship. There were three ships outside Zion, broadcasting into the Matrix, Niobe, Morpheus, and that other one... The other one got bombed by the sentinal and exploded, before turning off the Emergency power.

Someone clearly and concisely explain why they have a matrix inside a matrix. When it gets reset, Zion gets reset to 23 people... and whatever, but if it's a matrix inside a matrix, the machines... they don't really need the inner matrix, if they're already inside and are just programs. Putting a matrix inside a matrix is just a "foolproof" way of convincing the humans that they are in the "real", right? Or did people get me way off track...

Anyway, fight scenes, cool, twins, very cool, they cheat. The piling of smiths was cool. Good thing they kept the music. The end scene was cheesy, esp. w/ the music.

Overall fun stuff :D

Waaaay too philosophical, two of my friends did not stop discussing Baudrillard before and after the movie.

The Matrix Reloaded... great movie... probably the greatest movie of this year and will only be surpased by Reloaded. Anyways, go see it now if you haven't.

Yeah that whole "zion has been destroyed 6 times already" thing got me confused too... I still don't fully understand it, maybe it has to do with each version of the Matrix.

And how the heck did Neo stop those Sentinals?!?!?! Did he bring his powers outside of the Matrix or somethng?... and that one guy, the real world Agent Smith guy... he's bad news.

Anyways, can't wait for November :)

er, you say that as if you don't believe Dec 17th's LotR:RotK will be better... come on, everyone knows that Gandalf can kick Neo's $@#$@#$@# any day of the week.

They didn't kill the Keymaker then because "everything happens because [it was meant to be that way]." ;) Wouldn't have been much of a story without Neo getting to the Architect, eh? Oh well, I'm off to see the movie for a third time :D.

I forgot about that, but I still think Matrix is better than the movies... sorry LOTR fans, I'm one, but I do think the Matrix is better.

What if LotR takes place inside The Matrix? What if Gandalf is really another Agent Smith? What if Frodo took the red pill?

All I can say is The One or not The One, Neo's screwed if Agent Smith gets ahold of the Ring.

Neo can't handle the Frodo's big feet.... And he'd obviously lose an eating contest. But the power of the ring... Neo with the ring...

Agent Gandalf... doing Kung Fu... hardly seems correct. Hehe...

Try adding a 4th movie... X-men, man that's just messed..

and then there is me who really doesn't like lotr that much and the matrix was cool but wasn't the best thing in the world......i don't know.....it is just an ok movie.....



my opinion........can't help what i do and don't like.

The dialouge isn't as braindead as Lucas' amaturish scripts he's been putting out for the Star Wars films but all that obnoxious Psycho babble, double talk and psuedo mysticym must have added 45 minutes to film. Just get to the point! All it did was annoy and bore me.
The action sequences were spectaular as expected (the highway scene is an all-time classic!) I'm going to go see it again to get a better hold of it. B-.
