Stopping a Marquee

How do I get a marquee to scroll in to a certain location on my site and stop there (and stay visible)

Don't use marquee.

Just don't.

Play around with this:

<marquee behavior=slide>TEXT</marquee>

Please...for the love of HTML...don't use marquee! Jump on the bandwagon and comply with standards! Woo!

Yeah really. Not only is it blatant presentational markup, but it's ugly! If you need moving things on your site, make sure it's not text, and make sure there aren't too many. Moving objects become focal points, and very distracing. :ahh:

And by the way, I, and many others, block stuff like marquee and blink tags, so I would suggest not using it for anything essential.
