I'm afraid I don't know how to get rid of all the crap on there. I had a friend tell me how to create the applet on WordPad. Any technical advice you guys can give me would be appreciated.
It's not part of a site; it's just a chatroom. I'd LOVE to make a site, but I don't know where to go to do it.

Just as another data point, I got a bunch of funny characters, too. No chatroom.
