Pneumatics Limit Indicators
Hello everyone,
We want to tell our driver not to use any pnuematic devices below 25-30 PSI, so we want to use a pressure sensor that was used in last years robot. Does anyone know if this is illegal or not? If it is, anyone have any alternatives ? Thanks Yaman Salahi |
It is illegal, you can however use the 2nd pressure regulator given this year

The pressure switch supplied this year opens at 115 psi and closes at 95 psi. You should be able to wire it via one of switch inputs 1 thru 3, to use it for the normal programming of the compressor, and to have the OI LED for that switch come on while the pump is on.
If the pressure in your low pressure system is down to 35 psi (from 60 ?), it means your high pressure (before the regulator) reservoir must be down to 35 psi, too. The pressure switch in the H.P. system will close, and thus both the compressor, and the appropriate OI LED would turn on. |
