which pin in turned on to designate that the robot is running on it's own programming and then how do i shut it off?

i think you're asking how to turn on autonomous mode...there's a few threads on this. please search for them before you post.

If you want to turn the Auto code on you have to change the team number to 0, using the dip switch on the robot controller.
