Who gave Tytus a computer?!?!!!!
We officially disavow any and all statements made by this individual and also appologize for any indiscretions he may take. He's a great kid in real life (and a great helper/mechanic), But.... Sorry if he gives people the wrong impression of Team 179 though.... We plan to fully cooperate and participate to our fullest potential.

Tytus, have you stopped your meds??

BTW Thankyou everyone for the very kind comments. It's true our flipping didn't work out. The pistons didn't quite live up to our mathmatical expectaions (not even close.. My fault). But we're working on plan B :-)

Thanks

How many engineers do you guys have helping you?

Tytus Gerrish 14-02-2003 11:49

Sorry!

I realise now that my comments were ungrachous and yes I havent taken my medication in eight years. And you have Mr. Alison to thank for giving me a computer. And there are around 5 to 8 engineers helping us BUT! they make me do most of the work!

I would just like to say wow and nice job on that nice peice of work now just wandering how relaible is it i mean is there a certain spot you have to make it over the wall and what if you are hit off by someone or someon makes it to the ramp bofore and like blocks so you cant spread out and how goodare you at being rammed can you hold your steady at like a robot that does 9 ft per sec or higher?

Something sounds strange

:confused:In the beginning of this thread, you guys have pictures of you going over the bar and unfolding in 2 seconds. Why is it that suddenly your math is wrong, and this became impossible. It sounds a little strange as if you are trying to hide something. I could be wrong. Either way, good luck in doing whatever you are doing.

Ellery 17-02-2003 23:17

Outside the box!

I think you guys did an excellent job thinking outside the box! I agree with everyone's comments thus far it is a risky decision but sometime you just have to try it out!

I'd love to see it in person!

It wasn't doing that under its own power. It was probably just put into those positions by a human.

You may be pleased to know our machine is fully functional and the atounmous mode fets it STRAIGHT uo the ramp very quickly

I think we might just do it

Suike 27-02-2003 23:33

Look closely at the second picture in the top row... you can see somebody hiding behind the robot... it's held up by that person probably... good bot idea tho...

Billius 28-02-2003 00:16
