" and the whole class (27of us) walk through the office and points and laughs at him. hahah sucker.

DO ANY OF YOU HAVE A SOUL!!?!??!!

Of course not, either do I :p

Why bother only making fun of freshmen? Our Senior class, mainly me & mark make fun of just about everybody in the school, regardless of grade level. As far as pranks go, I'm pretty sure we're gonna be pranking the sophomores more than the freshmen, if you were on team 108, you would understand why (crazy mechanical team...psh).

You forgot the mot important one.... falling on your head and making everyone on the team think you have a concussion... Oh, wait, I DID have a concussion :p

At least in college you get upgraded from the title of freshmen to "first years." yay for first years.

evil duct tape

Ok my freshman year on the team summed up in to words. DUCT TAPE! (allthough i had alot of fun when i wasnt being duct taped).
So...I never shut up when i was at robotics so about 1 week into the season last year, a bunch of the seniors and juniors decided it would be fun to duct tape me( seeing how i was the only freshman on the team) and leave the room. needless to say i was squirmming around on the floor for half an hour trying to get my hands and feet loose/
And at the end of the season they randomly decided to duct tape my hands and feet to a chair and put me outside.
took awhile to get out while all the athletes were pointing and laughing.
AAAAhhhhhhhh they wonderous days of my freshman year, to bad the mentors outlawed duct taping the freshman this year.
(otherwise he would have been duct taped and thrown in an elevator at nats, that would have been funny)

ok, i think im done ranting 4 now.....

And I'm glad, can you guys stop giving them ideas? At least until June 15? *looks around, spots tom with duct tape and runs*

I find pranking beyond immature, and definitely not nice. Most of the time the pranks are too humiliating and the prankers don't deserve to be forgiven. I would never do that to anybody. Even if I didn't like them. I'd just be lowering myself.

Frank(Aflak) 05-06-2003 22:31

I like the idea of duck(or duct . . . ) taping a freshman and then leaving them all alone in an elevator. . . . and then leave the building and possibly even the city without telling him . . . hehehe. Especially a service elevator.

Also . . clocks forward, wake him up, tell him hes late, back to bed when he's showering. What a mind trip it musta been when he came out . . . . hehehe . . . then tell him he was having really vocal dreams if he asks what happened. He would never know.

About duct-taping: a friend of mine has a really . . well, the most annoying little brother on the face of this planet.

So I asked, innocently enough, if he had any duct-tape. The idiot went into his room and brought me a roll, which we then used to wrap him in. Then, because he was thumping around and making noise, we dragged him outside and taped his mumified form to a big oak tree in their front yard . . .. I wonder what the neighbors thought . . . but then They knew the kid and probably understood.

His mother, however, was angry when she got home . . . until she started laughing.

now we just need some freshmens. heh. heh. heh.

alas

how about some zipties doing the work? imagine the possibiliy of a freshman tangled in hundreds of zipties!

kristen 14-06-2003 13:20

My team doesn't "do" freshmen pranks... it's more of a free for all :)

My room unplugged our phone in our hotel room so that we wouldn't get called all night be certain team members.

Coco the Monkey 14-06-2003 13:27

We dont do pranks very much to our freshman either...though there is one that is EXTREMELY gullible *COUGH*MELISSA!*COUGH*...but yeah...

utishpenguin 16-06-2003 23:57

well well

we just order the freshman around and whip them into the proper shape for being in the build

pauluffel 20-06-2003 18:46

Not a robotics prank, but some freshman pranking that happened last year involving duct tape...

Our school is rather complex (seriously, there are two and a half floors at Milton) which leads to lots of fun places you can do things where the admins can"t easily spot you. This led to "Freshmen Fridays" where freshmen were held against a pole a couple of feet off the ground with their arms at their sides and duct-taped to the poles. There was also talk of doing this with the football goalposts, but these rumours are yet unproven...

(nobody got caught).
