IRI Registration 6:00 Central time
All teams interested in the IRI:
This is just a friendly reminder that registration begins today at 6:00 Central time. We are planning this year's event to be bigger and better than any off season event since "Rumble at the Rock". For those of you who have not attended IRI, we not only focus on strong competition, but we also make sure these things happen: - Great music is played throughout the competition - a distinguished crew of judges hand out awards, just like a real FIRST competition - good food is available to attending teams - the referees make every effort to be consistent and clear - the field will be an "official FIRST field" - field scorers are top notch, experienced experts - competition will be fierce - many of the best teams in the country will be playing. This year's winning alliance in Houston (111, 469, 65) have played here multiple times. In fact, we are planning to have as many as 9 different National Championship teams participating here. Within a few days, we will be able to provide some more details on this competition. Team 234 (Cyberblue), team 45 (TechnoKats) and team 393 (Full Metal Jackets) are again partnering to host the IRI. We also get alot of help from other Indiana teams, and we look forward to cooperating once again for this fun event. As a reminder... If your team is strongly interested in this event, get together and register tonight. The registration fee is $300 per competing robot, and the event will take place on July 18-19 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Andy B. /edit - you can register at this link: Indiana First |

Hey I am from 967 and I am ready to hijack our robot and pay the entrance myself and sleep in my car if I have too. Does anyone know a good way to beg for a thousand dollar robot?
Hey I'll even try and bring some other Iowa teams too. It will be one big Iowa Hijacking!:yikes: |
