Pictures in Chairman's Award?
 

We are planning on putting a couple of pictures on our Chairman's Award. Is anyone else? Just curious.

yes we are planning to put a few pics in ours :)

Yeah I think pictures are a good Idea. Not only will they be able to see you working as a team, but they will be able to put a face/logo to your name.

I think that pictures are going to be the way to make your submission stand out this year. Words are words - there's only so much they can say. You know what they say - A picture is worth a thousand words. A few well-placed pictures are good for that...

We're planning to go ballistic w/ pictures. But really, pictures make the submissions much friendlier-looking.

it is important for one to remember, however, that these judges are used to being wooed with pictures. don't make your chairman's award submission totally based on pics...fill it with facts that show how great your team is and then use pics to enrich those facts. we didn't use pictures last year and had sucess with our entry, however, we didn't win it all (Not that winning the Chairman's is justification for doing the acts, but simply stating a point) if one looks at 103's...it is much more fun to read because of the pictures...however, it is also filled with solid facts about their team's outreach. good luck everybody.

we hope to use some in our presentation... but here's my question: ok, we have the 4 page limit for submissions, are those 6 pics supposed to be included in the text, or are those a separate item?

Any pictures must be a part of the 4 pages.


Also, remember for those of you who want to do lots of pictures that the submissions have to be e-mailed, and many e-mail providers have a limit on how big of an attachment you have. Make sure you find out early how big that is.
