haha that reminds me, today in algebra 2 we were dividing polynomials (uber easy but soo boring) and one of the numbers was 343 and i yelled out "OMG METAL IN MOTION!" everyone looked at me with confused expresions except for three of my robo friends :D

-When you refuse to return a part of your team's robot that fell off at a demo that at the time no one could find where on the robot it came from.
(Every day since a demo last august a bolt fell off my teams robot and i picked it up. Ever since that day, every day i wear that bolt around my neck)

-When you collect odd souvenirs from demos and events your team does.

When you see a hired man up in a pine tree cutting it down, and your first thought is, "Oh, wow. That's a cool pulley system they have going on, I wonder how it works..." instead of, "I wonder why they're cutting down that tree."

When driving around town, you see house numbers and then search your memory to know what team that was. Ive found 1102, 281, 2751, 1771, etc lol

When driving by your local offseason (I couldn't make it, I was too wiped out), you can spot, from a distance, members of several teams, and just from their t-shirts, name and number each team.

A classmate in AP Physics has a folder with various cartoon robots on it, and the first time you see it you immediatly start comparing the varois propulsion mechanisms and start writing psuedo-code in your head for how the various appendages would operate.
