If you have a team number more than 10, you translate your team number into binary in order to be able to do a team number hand signal
i.e. 573 = \_ _ _/ \| | _/ (The slants and the lines are fingers that are up, and the underscores are fingers that are down) |

Wow, Ok Now I know I'm a FIRST Addict after reading the last 30 somewhat posts. =)
....when you mark your calendar for a "FIRST WEEK" and all you wear that week is nothing but team shirts / FIRST Related clothing. ....You beg your boss for a different schedule so you can have more time doing things at home even though the real reason is b/c you want to spend more time doing FIRST Robotics and alot of its related work =) [I went from a 12p - 8p FRI / SAT schedule to a 4p - 12a schedule w00t maybe if I beg my boss next year i'll get a later schedule so i don't have to take days off for competitions. =D .....Every time you work by FRC Competition venue, you try and spend as much time there planning for next years event ;=) ....After being an alumni for 6 years you still go back to your old HS and help them build a robot for next years competition ....your up at 2:45a posting stuff at cd |

I only made it through the first three pages, so I may be repeating, but some things just need to be said.
-You no longer talk about a BAC (Blood Alchohol Content) but instead your BCC (Blood Caffeine Content) -You have dumped a non-FIRSTer because they just did not understand -The robot can be described as sexy -You have a friend to whom you tried to point out an attractive individual and instead they looked at a gear ratio in that attractive individuals vicinity -You start calling your head engineer "Dad" on accident -You have a designated "nap area" in your machine shop -You add to this list instead of researching for a history paper (not that I know this from VERY RECENT experience ::cough:: ) -You understand everything said on this forum -You can look at a set of numbers and understand why they are funny -As soon as someone mentions something which is even remotely related to robotics you are there -People tried to vote you "Most Robotics Oriented" in your high school yearbook -You follow my quote that "FIRST is not a hobby, it is a lifestyle!" -After dumping that non-FIRSTer...you cannot remember ever dating anyone who was not from FIRST -Online you have added T#(team number) to the end of A/S/L/P (age/sex/location/picture) just in case |

Peciv, I'm going to try and get a shot with my DIGITAL camera so I don't have to spend the money to email the photo to myself. Mostly because I'm a poor college student, plus the quality of the picture on my camera isn't that good.
