...when you're anxious to get home to use either 3dsmax, C++, or play games.

...when right away when you get home you get online to talk to friends, and post messages on CD.

when you insist on reading all new posts to your subscribed threads (every thread you've posted on) no matter how badly you have to go to the bathroom.... and now that im done with that....

codeoftherobot 04-04-2003 18:59

you start to think that wearing pink buttons is the ultimate fashion accessory

when you meet a new person at school, you almost immediately give him a button for being a rookie

you wonder if your new gameboy can charge faster with the FIRST battery charger

seeing any motorized two wheel device makes you want to lean back and forth

- when you randomly shout out "Let's all go nuts! " in the middle of class, and at least four other people have heard it enough times to respond by shouting, "Robots! Robots! "

- when you just don't feel that sense of being alive unless you are doing something FIRST related.

- when your idea of a good time involves: a) sitting in front of a computer for hours on end typing in an obscure language; b) getting permanent grease stains and a slight silver tinge to your skin after spending days at a time in a machine shop building something that may not even function; c) taking apart and reassembling a transmition that took forever to build the first time around.

when you are the ONLY person left on CD.... much like i am at this very moment...:(

i have nothing else to do... so i'll think i'll just sit here and twiddle my thumbs and hum

dum de dum de dum

AlbertW 04-04-2003 23:13

when the "Robotics" section on your buddy list is slowly growing larger than the "School Friends" section. :D

Alaina 04-04-2003 23:20

When you don't know whether to put your boyfriend in the "friends" or "1201307 PPLZ!!1" category. lol.

Been there... Done That... Only problem is our state does not have the recycle and receive $.03, or $.05, etc... redemption value for cans :(

A pneumatic crusher wouldn't be too good for returning cans, though. Most states with bottle/can deposits require the cans to be intact so the scanning machines can read the barcode on the side. This ensures that the can actually came from that state.

... When you spend more time in front of your computer hitting F5 on the Match Results page than you do getting ready for prom.
(Gee, I hope I'm ready in time)

I've begun too see everyone in our bright orange print hawiian shirts everytime i close my eyes
went to a show, closed my eyes for a moment, saw everyone on stage w/ the orange garb on
went to IHOP , closed my eyes for a moment, saw the waiters with the orange garb on....

is this a bad thing?

Elyse Holguin 06-04-2003 18:53

...after you've already lost your voice more than 3 times, and can only talk in an extremely scratchy and coarse voice, you refuse to stop screaming cheers for your team or talking about your robot.
