When your with another firstee and when you realize that you just connected something completely random to First and say. "You know your addicted to FIRST when.... " :P

When your social schedule for the week consists of this:

Monday: Have party with 3 friends from your team, and go watch a movie.
Wednesday: Have party with other 2 Rochester teams, followed by a movie with a teammate.
Thursday: Go see a movie with a friend from another team.
All Week: Check CD hourly, Tigerbolt occasionally, and AIM with robotics people all day

when u miss ur last chance to take a pic w/ Dean Kamen, so you take his name tag after he has left, smuggle it under ur shirt out of LSC, and wear it at home for a day pretending ur on a segway... um, ok, i didn't do the last part - :: clear throat::

When, on your first day back to work at the state attorney's office, you start talking to one of your co-workers who attends the University of Florida. Your other co-workers ask ya how robotic's has been, and he says something about the robotics at UF. Needless to say, no work gets done for another 20-30 minutes and a convo on robotics proceeds, lol. (It's good to be in I.T. ;) )

...when 60 Minutes II shows coverage of you walking across stage last year at Championships, and they focus in when you go to hug Dean and he yells, "You're too hot and SWEATY!"

(For those of you who are going to review the tapes after this, my best friend Shane - 71, 1020 - is the guy that Dean is revolted by. How's that for a FIRST reputation? :) )

it's kind of funny

For those of you confused, she's currently in a study abroad program over in Germany for 7 weeks, where they allow her internet one to two times a week.

...and yeah, all I'm saying is I talked to a UF guy, didnt say where I was going ;)

... you find out your new roommates for college, and notice ur box# is the same as ur current team (25!!)... and you know that it's an omen ... even though you have no clue what the heck a box # is for

... when you exclaim while watching The Matrix for the nth time that the room neo walks into in the end is 303 - and you scream out 'PANTHER ROBOTIC' making everyone around you jump w/o a clue of what's going on

when you pass someone in school and they shout "ROBOTS" at you trying to make you cry, instead you think.... "I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE ROBOTICS MEETING TODAY!"

"what do you do in robtoics"

you have two possible answers:

1)"we build robots"
2) 3 horus speech on gracious professionalism

...when you look for a linux kernel revision to compile that contains your team number, e.g. 2.5.38, despite the bugs associated with such early versions.
