When you sit on a bus for over 24 hours to go to an Off-Season FIRST competion

When at the competition you can remember everybodys CD pic that they had up last year and what was in the Discription

when, at 02:54, you IM the only FIRST person on your buddy list and say how the time is BCP's team number :D

unfortunately, it never gets to 10:72

cause... well... yeah. =(

...when you have more people on your buddy list involved in FIRST than in any other category
...when you drive 13 hours to go to an off-season competition just to go
...when you own 10 different FIRST related shirts
...when you wear 10 different FIRST related shirts
...when you talk about FIRST wherever you go
...when you spend all your time planning for your next build season
...when you can make a purple monkey relate to a robot and building one.
...when you want to do everything FIRST all the time.

you're addicted to FIRST when you see this dredged up from the depths of Delphi and you feel the need to reply to it one more time...

...When you've tolerated the MTV music awards or whatever they were and exposed yourself to "the real world" as your non FIRST friends refer to it just because you heard there were Segways at the end.

The worst part is that I actually did that the other day on CNN or something with the I-Bot.

You know you're addicted to FIRST when you spend part of your summer vacation designing the new team website.
You know you're addicted to FIRST when the background of your computer has a robot on it.
You know you're addicted to FIRST when you write your MEAP essay on Dean Kamen. (and yes, I really did)

Yep, Im working on ours too... so far coming along horribly. Im much worse at design than I thought I was, lol

When you even incorporate dates with FIRST team numbers...

Last Thursday was 8/14/03 ...

When the first thought to come across your head on Mission:Space is "I LOVE THIS RIDE. Oh, wait, what's going on on CD... never mind... I LOVE THIS RIDE!"

My devotion is endless.

When your brother's dorm room number is the same as your team number and your first thought is the robotics connection.

..when you become disgruntled, because there are two complexes on campus one is 48 Nittany.. and the other is "42" Nittany.... and you receive notice that you were put in 48 ....
:( would of been a perfect address!

When you watch "A Word Association Here" for 4 days, just so you can snag the 5000th post...

...you have an e-mail folder dedicated to Robotics...
