- when your english teacher asks u to write a paper about a hero and you choose, woodie flowers, dean Kamen, or even your robot...
-when you get more excitied about seeing dean kamen or riding a segway than winning front row seats your fav. bands concert
-when screw jokes become unavoidable in your work area
-you resort to talking to the robot during late nite work sessions b/c you realize thats your only true friend
-when your friends stop talking to you because u all you do is talk about the robot.
- Your friends say, " well if you love the robot that much why don't you marry it?" and you seriously contemplate being able to.
- your teachers tell you if they get one more paper handed in with scribblings of the robot in the margine they will fail you! ((its only happened to me once, but i didn't mean to...really!))

Even better: I have no idea who would be my ring bearer in my wedding, well - when talking with my best friend/maid of honor... her first reaction was "why not use one of your old robots?" :D

...when you use Team numbers to help you remember important dates (birthdays annervsary) or even phone numbers.

... when family friends come over and you find out that one of their sons is in FLL and so you spend most of the night talking to him about it and talking about which schools in his area have FRC teams for him to go to in high school (in 2 years) ... all instead of studying for a major exam today ... (oh well i studied all night ...)

When you still have the tickets from six flags in texas and the plain tickets still in your wallet so when u get bored u can look at them and rember "hey i ate really bad chicken at that park"

When between work, robot meetings after work, and browsing CD when getting home you realize it's the end of January and the Christmas tree is still up. (as I sit here typing this staring at the tree across the room......Oh well, might as well keep it there, another 10 1/2 months and I'll just have to put it up again!! :D )

My nativity scene is still up. the weather up here in nyc is brutal to the point where i haven't gotten to take down the exterior decor. like you said 10 1/2 months and it will just have to be put up again might as well leave it there

~ when you have more pairs of safety glasses than sunglasses....and you collect sunglasses

~when you wear said safetyglasses for every-day tasks around the house so you can pretend you'redoing it for robotics

~when, during a movie, you point out every segway you see

~when your mom suggests that you stop with robotics and get more involved with college stuff instead and you give 20 reasons (off the top of your head) why you should stay with robotics...and then refuse to speak to her for the rest of the night

~when you're at the DMV and you're mesmerised by a ski ticket-stub on someone's coat zipper because it has your team number on it...and when you notice the person looking at you funny, you realize he thinks you're staring at his crotch because that's the height the stub is at.

~when you go shopping for clothes and ask yourself if it'll match your team shirt so in case it's cold out you can have something tp wear underneath without clashing

~when you go looking for fabric that matches your (incredibly loud) team shirt because you want to make more outfits for yourself but the place your team orders from ran out of the fabric. (no luck, unfortunately)

...when you literally have NO other priorities besides robotics, and you make sure it's the only priority you have at all times.
