~when even your checks have a diamond plate design...and your checkbook is decorated with duct tape

~when you go on a date and spend 10 minutes talking to the person about your love/obsession with robotics before you realize that 1)he doesn't understand what you're talking about (which makes you feel sorry for him) and 2)he's not interested (at which point you realize you can not date him again because you just can't see yourself dating a person who doesn't like robotics)

when you dream that it is february 23rd and your robot is and has been finished for over a week and a half ... and so there is no meeting .. but then you suddenly realize that autonomous was forgotten completely .. so there are absolutely no plans for autonomous and you run around trying to get everyone together (it was freezing cold and everyone for some reason was outside in the snow and i didnt have a jacket or shoes on .... ) but no one cared ....

when you see lisence plates on cars seeing numbers of FIRST teams you know.

when you only talk about robotics to your friends outside of FIRST.

Yes, I am sure that all of my non-FIRST friend are absolutaly SICK of me talking about robotics.

~when you're on your first day of jujitsu and you turn to ther person on the right of you (whom you don't know at all) and tell them that the move the teacher is demonstrating could actually work for you in robotics (we were learning to hula..hee hee)

~when you stay up until 1 am brainstorming possible outfits to make that would match your team shirt so you could look uber cool at competitions

~when because of this brainstorming you're so psyched about matching that you decide to paint your nails that instant to match your shirt just so you're ready in advance.

..when you get so annoyed at waiting for the pieces to be finished so that you can assemble your robot, you find a broken joystick and decide to tear it apart and put it back together, just so that you dont crazy

When your team attempts to make a petition making snow days illegal in your school idstrict during build season and was actually able to get others to sign ( it failed though and as we speak we our missing our 5th day :( )

When you woke up your little sister and mom by yelling "NOOOOO!!!! NO ROBTICS!!!!!" when you found out school was canceled

When the only thing that brought you joy this morning was knowing that they can't cancel school during weekends/vacations.
