When you decide that it would be fun to do Physics II problems at 11pm on a Saturday night, and you don't really have anything planned for Sunday... :rolleyes:

...when you're up at 4am to beat John Boucher getting on Chief Delphi...
...when you're up at 4am downloading the FIRST logos from the website so that you can make a banner for a demo you're doing...on your vacation day!
...you're walking around the new convention center in Hartford where you're supposed to be doing the demonstration saying, wow, this is where the robots and toolboxes and crates will be coming into the pits in March when we're here - no more mud and snow to slush through!

you miss major high school events like prom or homecoming to go to competitions. ( I already missed homecoming this year DUEL ON THE DELAWARE WINNER TOTALLY WORTH IT!)

...whenever you look at the time and its your team's number you tell all the people on your msn list what the time is...[like when time hits 12:19...i tell everyone on my msn list...haha...they've gotten use to it now]

- you spend more time at school building and driving than you do at home
- when you realize that your shop is your home for 40 days.
- school goes by and all you can do is think about robotics
- a teacher gives you time out of class to go to the shop to get your homework done.

my mom told me that i slept walked and started trying to take apart things with imaninary tools .. when i woke up... i was frustrated because i never finished taking apart the object in my dream... :(

i liked that last one

- When your son's teacher asks about the measurement of the bumper from the floor and me being mom and yet not involved spew out the answer because i heard it to many times

- When I am mom wake up at 5:30 on a saturday before coffee to drive my son to robotics so he can be the first one there and get a jump on it. (still trying to understand what part he is "jumping" on)

- When you as a mom sign on to a forum that son uses to post about how i am becoming addicted and i have not even touched the thing yet.
