what teams competed?
|
I don't quite recall all the teams, but here are the ones I remember:
898 (Desert Storm, the Cammo Guys, Go us!!!) 460 64 (not sure if they had a working bot at the time) 498 698 80 And some other teams, I recall there being a rookie team with a king of the hill machine that had a ramp that folded out. Maybe one of the people who put it on know... |

The Gila Monsters had a working robot. We did not have our shielding in place and did not want to damage the robot that close to shipping. The team you are speaking about is from Tucson (mostly Gila Monster Alumni). They are a great group of kids. They will be in Phoenix and Los Angeles. Ken Loyd Team 64  |

Thanks to Mr. Loyd for all of the kind words, but don't go giving us too mush credit yet, wait until Arizona. Thanks for an awesome three years. PS remember all these kind words you gave us when you are #1 seed |
Eric,
We just hope Gila VI can live up to all the expectations everyone wants to put on us. We will be in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and Houston, ready, once again, to leave parts of our robot all over the field trying to do what our alliance partners need us to do. Looking forward to seeing all of you in a week. Let the fun begin! Ken Loyd Team 64:cool: |

Oh, so that's why team 64 didn't have a bot out that day. Somebody probably said something and I forgot. I was totally sleep deprived that day because I had to stay up really late the night before doing last minute stuff and had to get up really early because Highland is so far away.
