Kukes is a misspelling of Cukes in order to match with the name of our town, Kingsville, Ontario. Cuke is short for cucumber, like the mean lookin' green mascot on the bot. It's because most of our local sponsors are local greenhouses.

BTW- not trying to sound like a smartass, but your post sounded like you didn't understand the name and I just wanted to clear it up.
