LiveJournals or other Blogs

So I was just curious, seeing as I have my hands on a large group of internet-able people....

Does anyone else have a LiveJournal / DeadJournal or other form of a blog? Furthermore, does anyone actually post in theirs?

Josh Hambright 19-02-2003 17:56

i have posted on my lj since build season started except maybe once or twice during the build season.

sky547 19-02-2003 22:16

chellyzee93 20-02-2003 17:33

utishpenguin 20-02-2003 18:33

xanga is the simplest one
there are others that are more customizable like diaryland, diary-x, freeopendiary, teenopendiary...

MikeFromTeam71 20-02-2003 19:41

Katie Reynolds 20-02-2003 21:03

I have a LiveJournal that I try to post in at least weekly. That doesn't always work out during the build, though. Hmmm ... maybe I should do that now!

I have a livejournal... during the past 6 weeks, it's been mainly centered around robotics. My friends have gotten sick of hearing so much about robotics ;)

I write in it a lot, though...

utishpenguin 20-02-2003 22:11

i think

i get too tired from robotics and just dont go on teh comp... but then i have a few diaries... for different matters

I have one that I haven't updated in moths--just can't find the time. It's really embarassing, or else I'd dare post a link.

I haven't posted on it much since build season started, I'm starting back up now, though.

PM, private message on CD.
IM, instant message on AIM.
Email works, too, but the other two alternatives are probably more reliable.

/me shrugs.

Whatever works to contact me with regard to a link to my livejournal, that is.

Elyse Holguin 28-02-2003 15:38

You might like it, it was made by a friend of mine.

DanL 03-04-2003 16:48

My friend sent me this a while ago...

I thought the idea of making this is quite humorous, regardless of one's opinions.

haha

so... thoughtful....

Amanda Morrison 10-04-2003 11:15

I still think Diaryland is the best and comes with the most features. It's pretty cheap to host there, too. They have a lot of great options, too - like a 'private' folder if you don't want your entry to be posted, and some fun features with the rest of the DLand users. I've had my Diaryland since the beginning of time (i.e. I was one of the first 500 members, now they're on some odd trillion) and so of course, here's my shameless promotion along with the others -

mmmm diaryland is pretty nice...maybe i will get a paid account.... its good stuff... so customizable..

Amanda Morrison 10-04-2003 23:18

Diaryland is customizable, even if you aren't paid. If you do pay, it's not only ridiculously cheap, but you get a lot of cool stuff, like a comment system for each entry, stats every hour, etc. Mine is fully customized (one of my good friends is a web designer at UIC) and I have a gold membership. I love it.

utishpenguin 12-04-2003 20:52

hmm

i am currently using blogger.... with comment leaving... blogger is nice when you could edit entries quickly... but it was a pain to customize....now with an external commenting service... im happy haha

some services are WAY TOO customizable... pretty scary

Matt Attallah 11-06-2003 20:14

I can't believe that I'm using one of these.

When they first came out - I thought they where dorkish. But now - they are a very-very good way to just vent about the way life treats you.

My Blog

I currently use Blog to write my stuff. It's free, easy, and I liked.

Just a word of warning - Read at your own risk...

utishpenguin 14-06-2003 12:01

hm

its summer, more blogging

a complusive blog of my firendspeople from all over the world

Melissa Nute 14-06-2003 23:37

I have a livejournal...
But its mostly friends only...

Firewolf 16-06-2003 20:53

not sure y i'm zactly putting it on here(again changed),
but hey, if u wanna do mental damage to ur self
feel free to read:

http://dewingedpsychopathicangel.blogspot.com/

I'll give a warning as well,
not only is it inappropriate repeatedly,
it also consists of really poor grammar.

AlbertW 23-06-2003 07:57

haha, http://bluepill.alnora.com/ is my blog... a collective blog of some of the craziest people in the world.

currently moving to movabletype... and i haven't gotten the old interface back up yet.

so that needs to be fixed. (i'll do it tomorrow...)

MarkF 30-06-2003 20:59

I have a xanga....here. I'm rather oppositional, though, so don't be offended...hee hee. :p

jonathan lall 30-06-2003 21:48

I've got one, but I don't post ultra-often, and I only do it from home, so I actually go into the code and post like that. No need for software, which would actually be slower. And I won't shut up about nerdy pursuits. That's the idea, to be mainly interest and computer-oriented rather than social or diary-oriented. Oh, and it's way to advanced for Internet Explorer. Opera can read it, and it works flawlessly in Mozilla.

utishpenguin 05-07-2003 23:21

haha!

blogspot/blogger made a loevyl comback... with some souping up its as good as diaryland

PASSMEBY

Breanne M 11-08-2003 20:11

I had Xanga, but for some strange reason it doesn't seem to want to work on my computer anymore... internet explorer won't even access the site :(.... so i think i'll just brows around for a new/better one.
