I don't like rap, but oddly enough i really like chilli peppers which is rock rap...

i dont like about 99% of rap out there, its so demeening to women, and i am a guy, so i really hate it alot. The only rap i do like is linkin park and chille peppers

It got locked because the thread degenerated from talking about the merits of rap into a nasty argument about race and social groups in high school.
Let's just make sure this one stays on course guys.
I personally don't care much for rap but I do like Public Enemy.

The only remotely Rap-ish music I listen to is Linkin Park.

Personally, I prefer Trance and Jazz over anything else (weird combo, eh?) However, I'd have to say that my favoriate rap artist is Notorious B.I.G. (even though hes dead)

i agree with both parts.. i do like the old school rap (Notorious B.I.G. Run DMC, Tupac, etc).. when every other word wasnt a bad word.. and in this time, rap just isnt the same anymore... 50 cent, he is okay... i just dont like him that much anymore because while your'e riding down the street, about 2387429 other cars in the same lane as you are jamming "wanksta' or "in da club" so it dies pretty easily.... also, a lot of other music takes a lot of talent than just writing your "flow" (as rappers say).... but i give all music credit... i like all types of music.. classical, rock, reggae, modern, dance, SPANISH (i have to represent my puerto ricans =) ), just everything =D those are my few cents on this topic =D
