in some places...like CA, FIRST is very big. Nearly all the schools have a team in some areas making it easier to find somebody near you

P.S. only date fellow firsters
FIRSTers are great and all... but don't limit yourself to only them.
::sigh:: you really never know where that special someone will turn up... and they might be right under your nose the entire time and you don't realize it....

just be sure to not sneeze...

bad joke... sorry

Partly true. But FIRST girls, the majority seem to be different than other girls. I personally find FIRST girls way more attractive and interesting in terms of character, intelligence, beauty, etc... ;) than other girls who aren't in FIRST. They seem so......lame....(ruffles through a thesaurus).....uninteresting and unattractive (altough other guys might disagree). Trust me I would know! :p

Well I have to agree my girl friend broke up with me recently because I was never around. If only her school had a team maybe she'd have understood. But anyway the worst date I've ever been on was my first one. The girl's Mom picked us up. And from there it pretty much went down hill considering her mom kept a very close watch and never left through out the entire date.

Later. . .

That's part of the problem for us FIRSTers. Outsiders don't understand why we're not around in January and February. My parents do the driving but they respectfully keep their distance from us. Often my sister is there too sometimes but she keeps her distance but I don't mind and neither does Pamela.

That isn't alway best...like take my b/f...he isn't in FIRST but at least he understands how FIRST is a major part of my life and accepts that. So at least find someone that understands FIRST even if they aren't involved.

Good for you you got yerself a rare one. and good luck to you both but umm as far as first and dating in my school goes you cant have both at the same time. If you are in first the only way you can get a date is to A. date someone on a team many miles away (which is possible) B. Date someone on the team (only 3 girls) C. dont date at all or D. Quit first (not an option)

D is definately not an option....a few friends would kill ne as that's the only time that we are DEFINATELY going to see one another. That might change in college depending what team I am on but that remains to be seen. People who understand FIRST are very rare indeed more like an endangered spieces that we need to support. Good luck to ya!
