What does everyone think about scouting.

It can be tedious at times, but it is something that is needed to last into the weekend rounds.

I agree with AC. Scouting is needed so you can plan out your strategy for each round.

I love making everyone else scout so I can sit back and crunch the numbers :p

say joe, do you want to work together on a scouting platform? I have started to compile picts & info for Cleveland? Maybe we can all get together & share info @ FIRSTrobotics.net? what do you think?

Well.. I've never scouted before, but I'm really excited about doing so. I think it will be really fun, being able to walk around and talk to people and see their robots, while being useful at the same time.

The term "necessary evil" comes to mind...

um... pretty boring at some times... but cool when you get to stand in front of your entire team at night and tell them all about the bots for Sat.

Overall... not that bad, and in the least, it passes the time :p

In my experience I've always been to busy tweaking* the robot to do any scouting
