Major Inventor Problem

I've been using Inventor to design the robot, and am nearly finished. But recently, I've gotten an error which does not let me save! Here it is:

[WARNING] Problems encountered while saving the document. <FwRes.dll(1806)> [r:\core\Fw\Main\FWxSceneDoc.cpp, line 1431]
[ERROR] Error(s) detected while writing segment AmDcSegment in database C:\Documents and Settings\Dibble\My Documents\Chris\Activities\Robotics\Inventor\Robot \Robot Built Frame CTD2.iam <RSeRes(622)> [r:\core\RSe\segment\segStream.cpp, line 242]
[ERROR] Error detected while saving object of type RDxOccurrence <RSeRes(1408)> [r:\core\RSe\meta\meta.cpp, line 967]
[ERROR] Internal error in persistence operation (Segment loading is not supported within other persistence operations) <RSeRes(623)>
[ERROR] The database in C:\Documents and Settings\Dibble\My Documents\Chris\Activities\Robotics\Inventor\Robot \Robot Built Frame CTD2.iam could not be saved <RSeRes(202)> [r:\core\RSe\database\databaseC.cpp, line 1195]

Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm running on a 2ghz machine with 512mb ram, so it shouldn't be processor speed.

Please help if you can, I'll greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Chris

(shouldnt this be in the inventor forum?)

My best guess would be just to try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. :]

Chris Dibble 26-02-2003 19:47

It should be, and is, but I think it'll get more exposure here. And I did uninstall/reinstall (didnt' help).

If it should be in there, it shouldn't be in here. Extra cluter is not needed in the General Forum.

Fine, then remove it. I solved the problem anyways.

You can do that yourself....there's a section of the "edit thread" that says "Delete Thread" and you check it and hit ok....poof, gone
