Hey I was just stating a fact about my team during River Rage. I really don't know why you get so mad over it. You want to dish it out, that is your own problem. Its just making yourself look bad by repeating the comment in a negative way. That is all I will say about it, and I think everyone else should not bring it up in the thread again. Period.

In short, "If our robot were better, you would not have beaten us," doesn't really seem to constitute itself as fact.

Ah, why won't you people stop it. I really try to follow gracious professionalism, but you people are trying to me a bad guy, and force me to respond in a not so nice matter. Why do people criticize post you make on this forum? I was stating a fact, "our robot was not performing well at River Rage, so it wasn't a fair assessment to judge us as week" I didn't say what other people were implying that the victory was ours in any ways.

Its exactly like Rick's post, you blow it into proportion, and point fingers at everybody. Why can't people just leave what it is "a comment" its your opinion. Don't like it, don't complain about.

I believe if there is an inaccuracy in what people post than you can post something to correct them. Otherwise don't post.

Anyways In "gracious professionalism" I hope that no one else quotes me on this subject or brings up any more useless bickering. Please do not respond, I'm serious.

If you stop replying everyone else will too. Just saying "please do not respond" invites other people to defend themselves, and then they add the "do not respond" clause. If you want to argue, please don't do it in a public forum.

Just wanted to add that this post was asking who your favorite teams are. Not who do you think is gonna take the gold.

HELLOOoooo To ALL
Last year was 2002 it is now 2003!!!!! Good luck to all the OLD and NEW teams in FIRST this year. We at team 88 have worked very hard this year as all teams do to put on a great show of bots. This year will be no different, NH should be a HOOT. We are looking forward to another great year. TJ2 is alive and well but as in previous years NO PHOTOS till thur. Good luck to all in NH. We TEAM 88 TJ2 will be the ones in the tie-dye in case you forget.
We are the only team with certified MOE SOCKS and team 88 tie-dye shirts to trade come early to the pit with your trades.

PS Thanks Andy G. we work very hard on team work, strategy, sportsmanship, etc.

As I say First bots are like snowmen!!!!!!!!
They fall from the sky unassembled and we but them together, (This is another Moeism) I have my own little world. But it's ok ....they know me here.

See You ALL in NH on thur.

BAE System's team's

i have to say that team 166 spent there off season well. there two speed transmission has all the kink's worked out. This 3rd version shift's on the fly is super simple and both gear's have a bit of bite to supprise everyone! There design will fit under the bar toss/throw stack's and has a 6 foot plow. in only there second year as a BAE System's team i have a good feeling about this team's robot seeding high.

team 151 Nashua has always proformed well. if we remember in 97 they were the first team to go undefeated to #1 seed and then win the regional. then in 98 they were a semi finalist in 01 they were 7th i think and in 02 they were selected for the final's. so i wouldn't ever count them out.

You know there's always that added pressure for a BAE System's team to win there own regional. good luck to everyone coming and congradulation's on picking what will go down as the best regional that everyone will wish they played in.

No no no... this post is for who the favorites are for winning the regional. Yes it may not be sensible however teams have reputations. Speaking as a strategist in picking alliances the capabilities of a robot should not just be the only deciding factor of selecting a team. Reputation and drivers are key when participating in the finals thats why some teams such as 157, 190, and others have great reputations as good alliance partners because they are well coached.

BTW this is a new year but the past will not be forgotten so easily. But the fighting will end now

ME!!

i'm everyones favorite :)

Petey 06-03-2003 21:17

In the limited viewing I had, I was most impressed with Team 58's robot, which was similar, but a lot more developed and better, to Team 1073's robot.
