VCU Web Hug
 

I've decided to make the date and time for the VCU Web Hug/Meet. I hope to see everyone from Chiefdelphi at the refreshment stand near where you enter the complex on the right. It has the tables to eat at and some people do strategy there. It will occur on Thursday March 6th at 12 or when the lunch break begins. I hear that if 122 gets this info, they might bring their custom Segway. ;)

I'll try to be there. Our robot has... many issues that we must overcome before any of us really go on break, but here's hoping!

I'll be sure to bring buttons.

likewise- if i can tear myself away from all of the "final adjustments" that need to be done, i'll try to say hi. Unfortunately I am my teams primary drivetrain, electrical, and pnuematics guy in addition to being secondary programmer, helping with the arms, and primary driver, so I usually don't have much free time at competition.

If no one can show up, then we will reschedule. But still look for me and if you are paired up with us for a match, I'll be looking for you. :D

i am so sad to inform you of this tragic news....
Yes, the segway will be at VCU.

But...*tear* none of our students or any other student will be allowed to ride it. apparantly, some of the mentors are concerned about safety issues and claim it is dangerous!!! *tear* however, one of our mentors is really cool and i am SURE he can be convinced to bring it to the web hug, esp considering it is his child and we sometimes thinkhe has more love for it than the robot...hmm... "oh this would be perfect for the segway! you dont REALLY need it for the robot.."

Yep, will be there, I'm sure we can convince our mentor to bring the Segway, it is his child, some times we had to keep him on track: "Hey, the robot!" See you there, looking forward to meeting you all.
