So what now?

Now that the animation is finished and turned in (hopefully) what duties are there for the animators to perform on the teams now? Or do you simply become innocent bystanders?

I've been helping to build spare parts and stuff now that the robot is shipped.

Design items for use in other areas, I suppose.. for example, you could design graphics for use in the pit, or a fence to surround your pit, or designs for buttons. You could make promo videos for display in the pit, and etc.. many options are available.

just cuz ur an animator doesn't really mean ur useless for anything else,... i don't do much other than animation but i can do somethings other than that like cutting and making parts or designing parts on inventor

That is what I'm asking. Do you guys participate in team spirit activities (which is what nearly all the X-Cats do up to attending competitions) help maintain the workshop, build spare parts? What?

I've now been reassigned to working on with SOAP (Soap108.com) in designing some ASP pages and I'm lending a hand with the new tranny and fixing some old bots.
