yeah! that did work well. however, if i wanted to cover the entire sleeve, there's always the motown livewires button i have, those things are HUGE!!

utishpenguin 07-04-2003 22:54

mmm

ever try out different kinds of ties and clips?

Josh Hambright 08-04-2003 09:26

Just take a sharpie and draw a smiley face where the offensive stuff is.

That way you take care of business and you make sure that your not offending anyone! AND IT MAKES THE WORLD A HAPPIER PLACE!

Sorry i'm in an excessivly good mood due to the fact i only have 22 hours till i leave for houston!

Amanda Morrison 08-04-2003 13:20

What we should do on this thread: give Josh tips on his mohawk. I still say you should have grown a trihawk... kinda like Luis and RUFIOOOOOOOOOO!

I've yet to see a girl with really noticeable hair... maybe the girl I met last year on Holland Christian with the spikes, but she's really the only one who stands out.

Josh Hambright 08-04-2003 13:28

there was a girl in cleveland with sorta a mohawk...

helen on our team put green in her hair but she's a wuss and used temp dye...so now it looks moldy!

Dude trihawks...omg i could never...its enough work dealing with 1 let alone 3!!!!

I have to decide tonight if it shall stay gold or turn magicly either green or purple before houston!!! Tonight is my last change to dye it!

Amanda Morrison 08-04-2003 14:47

I told Chris to have you keep it gold but add some thick black chunky stripes, ala 461 colors. that, and get some clothespins, color them yellow and black, and put those in there. I think that would look awesome!

I just put my hair up with a clip before comps... it's way too much work to do anything else. That, and I had to be up first to wake up the kids, so I didn't really leave myself much time. :(

i'm redoing the bright red i had in chicago with manic panic at the hotel... they're gonna kick me for dripping red on towels... but oh well, they didn't do anthing to us in michigan when we had blue all over the place from doing everyone's hair.... yeah.... hmmm... i think a sharpie would work.... then again, i might get my head chewed off like last year for altering a uniform. hahahaha

To me, the fashion at the regionals aren't about being pretty, it is all about team spirit and creativity. Whether it is dying you hair orange or, LOL, wearing yellow and orange board shorts to match the orange shirt. A team mate did it. It looked, umm, great! LOL.:D

Elyse Holguin 17-04-2003 00:29

did anyone @ radisson see me walking around in 2 towels, pants, and a showercap while redying my hair, and quite possibly have a picture of it? there were a lotta ppl around, and that'd be the best who am i picture CD's ever seen! lemme know!

Just be thankfull that you have a team setup that allows you to touch the color of your hair..

In our rules and bylaws of the team it says "No un-natural hair color is allowed during competitions..."

It really sucks to say the least!!!

really? wow, we're encouraged ... actually i think our advisers do it more then the kids

Amanda Morrison 17-04-2003 18:40

Is there any way that you can have that amended - possibly only for competitions?

A lot of mentors and advisors get into this to get as involved as the kids... Just look at Andy Baker's picture with Tim Railey, the picture Ken Leung has up, etc. Different colored hair at competitions is a little more crazy and a little more fun.
