full rules
i know that FIRST said they were going to release a full updated version of the rules, but i never could find it... due to my computers crappiness, i can't edit the adobe rules, so i was wondering if someone had a set of rules completely updated and could send it to me or post it somewhere?

Try HyperRules. It's not official, but Nate Smith has done a really good job of making an up-to-date, searchable rules index.
|
i guess i could use that, but i was hoping for something i could print as the ultimate rulebook of all time (for this year only)
|
Oh, well, I don't think that exists. You would have to compile it from the original and updates, or print off all of HyperRules, page by page.

As soon as I read into PHP's PDF functions a bit more(and make sure the right functions are installed on the server), I'm looking at having it compile a PDF of a section, or the entire manual...still working on that one though...maybe I'll do that tonight and/or tomorrow...
|
I was compiling an updated manual, but I stopped when FIRST announced that they would release their own (around Team Update #10). For the manual updated through #10, go to http://users.wpi.edu/~ahecht/FIRST/
With the first set of regionals starting later today, I am starting to doubt that FIRST will ever live up to their promise. |
Just a quick FYI...Hyperrules now has experimental PDF generation, on a section level only...the formatting is still being cleaned up, and I'm working on a database-wide PDF creator, but those are still to come...
|
well, i guess i'll try to make my own... i wish FIRST had come thru with its promise of a final version.... if anyone has it email me (zmaster86@comcast.net)
i'll post the full version somewhere if i ever finish making it |
