Bah, who needs to worry about covering it up. We just plain ignore the stupid little thing.

"a team with good partners getting lucky winning the first seed, then being upset by the alliance who "randomly picked" because they were like the 16th seed."

Hey! thats me! ha ha, the drive for #171. I was the deer in the headlights who didn't do his homework, but hey, it turned out great in the end. I guess I'm just lucky.

one of our alliance partners wanted to kill their auton mode so they were gonna wait past 10 seconds and then have the human player step on the pad..but they never stepped on it so they were DQd from the match
our pit crew almost missed our Xerox Creativity Award because we were working on the robot in the pit.. luckily i looked up to see what another team was doing and i saw our team number and sponsors on the projector screen in the pits..we ran fast

Our human player did this during one of the matches. He was looking at the clock on the big screen which was apparently several seconds off from the official clocks.

Also, did any other regionals have a human player that wore a monkey mask during a match. Ours did.

teams leaving two people to pack up their entire pit

I couldn't leave this one alone. :D

I told my entire team, most of which were either rookies or leaving our team due to senior status, to go out to lunch before eliminations started, and I would stay behind.

Jeremy, after hearing that I skipped out on lunch, got me something to eat and drink (which was much needed after a hard day). We went out to the parking lot and enjoyed the weather, something I think both of us needed!

Afterward, again because of the rookie members, I told my team to go watch eliminations and cheer for their favorite alliance. Again, I thought I'd join them. Instead, thinking ahead, I got our crate and started packing up the pit myself.

Jeremy was nice enough to help me pack up our robot and our ENTIRE messy, disorganized pit without even a word. It was such a friendly gesture that I think he should be recognized for it!

Only the Prank Monkeys would do something like that! Although, if regionals were anything like last year's, I'm sure that some other teams had some tricks up their sleeves...
