I think that is a very impressive bot.

It looks like you have what it takes to be one of the top teams at annopolis.

I would just look of for a tipping effect on your bot if another robot got to the hill as soon as you did. With you arm, it might make it a bit top heavy.

6 wheel drive..nice..

look foward to seeing your bot in action...

see you this weekend..

Looks like a good bot. I hope you have plenty of replacement arms because you'll probably need them. Good luck at your regional.

K. Skontrianos 11-03-2003 23:47

What's its wingspan?

Mike Schroeder 12-03-2003 00:22

Lemme put all your worries to rest

GGoldman: If our robot tips, the mechinism that raises up and down, can correct us.

David Lantz: those arms are made of aircraft aluminum, plenty strong, also, thye are powered be pnematic piston, they were specificly made to knock the wall down not to hit robots after 60lbs of pressure, they fold back up

K. Skontrianos: They wingspan is 110inches thats alittle more than 9 feet

Oh and for those of you who would think that our light is illeagal, its not, we followed the rules

Nice bot. hope to see you in annopolis.

Mr. Ivey 12-03-2003 11:23

You may have the arms nailed down, and what seems to be an impressive 6 wheel driving system, but can you put the money where your mouth is, and when push comes to shove, can you push back, or will you just have to self right??? Everything looks impressive though, and using the pnumatics, you should have plenty of pushing power.

Mike Schroeder 12-03-2003 11:36

well, this means nothing to most people, but it pushed me accross a floor, and i was trying to push back, and i am a 330+ lbs person :p

Chesapeake Regionals, to all those in disbelief

I am with team 53, and our pit was next to team 25. Yes they did work on their robot while in the pits, but they did not replace an arm, not even scratch it. This 6 wheel robot was very fast, i think it was the nicest robot there. It looked cool. This bot has more power than most on stage, it defened their stack. Pushed all robots away, even on the ramp. Anyone can have a good bot, but I say that the driver/operator of team 25 knew what he was doing very well. He Controlled this thing like a dream. This thing is a tank.......

soezgg 16-03-2003 17:12

i agree, 25 was without a doubt one of the fastest, best controlled robots at annapolis

also top 5 in strength, nice drive.

Wayne C. 16-03-2003 17:18

at team 25 we have a proverb-

"that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger. NOTHING comes easy for team 25"

In the semis we were defeated by the eventual winners in a 1/1 decision. We had a failure in round one that was remedied in round two and a little bad luck(a wheel touching and 2 boxes short). No problem. The competition was great and the winners deserved their win.

But we fixed our machine now. And we are ready.....

SEE YOU ALL AT RUTGERS AND HOUSTON

thanks for the props Serg. We're just in this for the fun and friends.

WC ;)

Keith Chester 16-03-2003 17:33

And now our transmissions wont blow. Many matches in Annapolis was with only 2 of our 4 motors :D

Serg 16-03-2003 17:33

Unfortunately for me im not going to nationals. I wont see anyone till next years game, but till then good luck to all the teams.
