nationals spots?
 

are there any extra spots left on nationals? Just wondering. My team would love the chance to contiune the experience because we're all seniors, and it's our last year, and it'd be one heck of a way to end our high school life.

There is a (large) waiting list that you can get on if your Main Contact puts you on it, I don't know if FIRST is opening any more spots up for regional event/award winners.

FIRST has open spots for regional winners. 384 got in and making our reservations now!

Regional Event and Major Award winners are guaranteed a spot no matter what. If you can win a regional or get an award, you're set.

Otherwise, seeing as you are an odd numbered team, you just have to put yourself on the waiting list.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you sign up when you had the chance??? After all you are an odd team and this in an odd number year............

NOT ALL AWARDS GET YOU INTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Only a few do or a combination of a few.

Only the awards that say you're geniuses. =P

Such as the Delphi Driving Tomorrow's Technology award for best drive system!!!!!!

in order to get into the Nationals event you need to accumulate 5 points by winning various awards at the regional events, awards are worth various amounts of points, so look it up @ www.usfirst.org . there is also a lottery that allows odd numbered teams to get in on an odd numbered year (this one)....so sign up and hope to see you there.
