Hey Ogre. I just searched the UTC website and could not find the webcast which they usually have so I will see if Mr. Nye know anything tonight.

Jeff Rodriguez 13-03-2003 13:39

Does anyone know if UTC has their own webcast of the NE regional?

miketwalker 13-03-2003 13:47

According to their site only 1 of the 4 regionals is being webcast, and only on Saturday. I really don't like that, because we were going to show our class here about it so they know what we're doing. UCF Regional isn't being webcast either it seems according to that page. Does anyone know if there are other webcasts not on that sheet?

Talking to someone who is volunteering at Annapolis, the competition will be webcast tommorow (friday) also.

Only passing on what I heard...

Jferrante 13-03-2003 21:28

is there any way to record the webcast?

Marc P. 13-03-2003 21:36

I spoke with a few people at the UTC regional, and it will NOT be webcast. While the capability is there, there are too many issues to be worked out in such a short time. (I offered my computer as a streaming server, and the connection is there, but firewall issues, lack of a host names, etc. were too much to overcome within the 3 days of the competition)

After doing a bit of googling, I came up with this:
http://stream-down.cocsoft.com/index.html (15 day trial; $39)

I didn't take much time to look. That should do it...for 15 days, at least :) There's probably more options out there. Just search.
