Anyone not buy the Package?
 

I was wondering if any team did not buy the team package to go to Six Flags. If so what are you guyz planning on doing? We're planning on having our own party since FIRST won't let us go to the team party at Six Flags cuz we don't have enough money to buy the "package". Let us know...

We are staying at a hotel across the street the stadiums because we decided to not go with the package(also money issues to blame). The three girls on our team have been declared the night activities planners for when everyone will be at Six Flags :( We will still have a good time, its robotics! We always have fun at roboitcs stuff! :D

Team 330 is staying several miles away. I don't have the hotel info handy. We're open to suggestions on activities when the pits are closed. I don't know of any plans on our part. But then I haven't been to any of our travel meetings so there may be stuff I don't know about.

Staying away from the team party enabled 3-4 more students to go to Nationals. That's about 20-25% of the team. Not a hard choice.

Team 93 did not purchase the package. Too expensive.

My team purchased "the package" but my parents were not impressed with the accomodations included. So they purchased their own flights and hotels for my parents, myself, and brother. Can we purchase the Six Flags tickets alone?

No FIRST said you have to buy the package to be able to go to Six Flags if your team purchased the package you alone can go with your team but your family cannot. Atleast to my understanding.

Well, my team is pretty short on mentors so I think my parents will be going as mentors, and my little brother is the team mascot, so I think that will work.
