EDU RC not being recognized...
 

For some reason, it keeps saying that "no basic stamps found" even though it is connected the same way that the big one is and "program" is selected and the WP jumper is on. WHY?!@?!?!

Make sure the slider switch is moved from tether to program and try rebooting your computer.

Our Program/Tether switch came loose, so we have to push it down while we're downloading...
That's probably not the problem though...

Tried it; it didn't work :(

Are there any other suggestions?

Other info: The same computer, with the same serial cord/port, will program the full-size RC.

I seem to remember some people posting here about problems with the motherboard coming loose. Try making sure it is fully seated.

I just tried re-seating it, and it didn't help :(

Maybe it's a faulty RC...
