Hey guys! Thanks for choosing us as your alliance partners.

Anyway, good luck in future endeavours, and see you guys next year at Silicon Valley, and hopefully Sacramento! :)

wth

i have to thank teams:

852 and 254! the athenian school and the cheesypoofs. without them i dont think we woudl have gotten first.

another thing i have to protest about... aonics signature... there wasn't a swing dancing competition since there was NO criteria to be jdged upon and NO judge... so aonic... our lovable mentee..... take it out... hahaahahah :D

AlbertW 30-03-2003 19:48

you're just sore you didn't win ;)

utishpenguin 30-03-2003 19:52

hmmm

win? we did win... haha anyways.... do you recall you are the one that changed it into HRT cordailly invites MVRT to a swing dancing "social" [cant fine any other word]

right?

its not like we didn't have anyone up there. three pairs of dancing experts went up, the rest were busy fixing the robot or worrying abotu finals.... so NYEH :p

AlbertW 30-03-2003 19:54

pfft

isn't she just such a sore loser? trying to compensate and explain away their lack of skill at swing dancing ;)

tsk tsk tsk... uta, you'll NEVER win the sportsmanship award this way! ;)

:D

utishpenguin 30-03-2003 19:58

stop it

stop clinging on to the fact that there was a competition.

there wasn't

so all yrou arguments above are invalid

AlbertW 31-03-2003 00:30

so stubborn.... you 6-year teams are too entrenched in your traditions. we rookie teams, on the other hand, are willing to be open-minded about the definition of words like "competition" ;)

AlbertW 31-03-2003 00:39

besides, if you consider everything quantitatively:

* we had more people out there than you
* we had 3 good couples dancing
* we satisfied the FIRST community involvement thing by inviting people from alex's dance school
* and irina and i managed to dance on the ramp without tripping ;)

therefore we won :D

utishpenguin 31-03-2003 00:44

humph

no criteria, don't try to make up some, we have to agree to it... which we wont.

Alex1072 31-03-2003 00:54

I'd have to agree with albert on this one, our routine kicked $@#$@#$@#. And just to prove it, I think i'm gonna post it up here.

We're not going to nats cause we're all tired and out of money. Also we already took Tork back home. We do wanna go to the next off season comp though. Can you guys give us a heads up when those start coming up?

As a HartBurn Alumni (and one of the few who frequent CD) I just wanted to say that you didn't let anyone down. I wasn't at the competition but I'm sure you did fine and everything's a team effort...and we obviously picked your team for a reason. I got reports back from the 691'ers that went and they said they had an awesome time! Great job to all those who competed at SVR.

PS: Just as a warning, threads that go back and forth between two people for a while can be closed by Brandon (see the rules) so use AIM or PM's. I know it wasn't intentional but just for future reference :)

dude... what's wrong with "hella"? ;)
