I don't know about everyone else, but I'm dying with anticipation about next week!! This week at school is dragging by so slowly. I just wanted to share my excitement with everyone else, and to see if you are all as stoked as I am:D

I would be totally psyched if every time I have gone to Nationals I haven't been sick. FYI this will be my second Championship Event.

I can't wait. It's my first one, and i have no adults in my room...heh...

I don't think i will ever sleep the 5 days...

I can't say that I'm very psyched about nationals, every compitition I go to I'm treated like the team (insert demoralizing descripton here). I don't get to do what I want to, and I'm thrown around like I don't deserve to even be there. I humbly do every thing I'm told in the hope that my patience will pay off. It really sucks to be considered a nerd among nerds. Picked on in school, pick on in what I thought would be my refuge. Life is depressing when your an outcast.

Well, 6 days, 19 hours, 20 minutes to go... I'm ready. Are you?

For this being my first national competition... YESS im pretty psyched.. it seems like as closer we get to the day, the slower the days become.. but the day will come!! yay! :D

6 days and 8 hours I will be in Houtson. I am soooooooooo excited!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!! And now that the divisions r out im even more psyched. Just remember to not forget about school:) C'yall there

P.S. Victim of Fate cheer up Nats r always great. and if u truly feel like this why don't u tell ur advisor. In FIRST everyone is put on equal playing fields of opportunity so unless its an advisor/mentor I don't think anyone has a right to yell @ u.

Well not too sure what time the Michigan Tech team will be rolling in. We are leaving from Houghton Michigan at about 10pm Tuesday night with hope of making it to Nationals before pits open Thursday. I guess according to MapQuest it is like a 30 hour drive to get there. Should be exciting, a great time builder and of course a great chance to talk about strategies about all of the teams and divisions. Can any one bet the 30 hours bus drive for trying to get to Nationals? See you all as soon as the bus gets there...

Duude, guys, it's almost FRIDAY!! That means that we have the weekend, then only two days of school before we leave!!! Ahhh!! I'm telling you, I can't sit still, I'm so excited!! Come by our pit (team 461, that is) and check us out some time. We have a badazz scouting database that you are all welcome to use :) Oh, and I will be around scouting those in our division, so I look forward to seeing you!!;)

ROBOTS ROBOTS ROBOTS!!!

Woo i am doing 3 weeks of robots in a row... We were in chicago last week and right after school I am driving upto my dads house in michigan so i can drive to grand rapids in the morning and see some crazy robot action at the west michigan regional! then next week i leave for houston!!!! ROBOTS ROBOTS ROBOTS!!!

LETS ALL GO NUTS AND STUFF!

Ohh. About 3 days 16 hours or so til I leave my house to go to Houston. We have an ~9:45 flight out of Bradley and then switch in Pittsburg.

nats is going to kick butt 4 2 reasons
1) its my second year on the team but my first year going to nats
2) the board of ed 4 our team originally said that it was too dangerous to go on any off long island trips and cancelled all off island trips about 2 weeks ago
but on tuesday night the whole team got a call saying the boe changed thier minds and was letting our team goto nats

so in short nats is going to be nothing but pure robotics fun

I am also very excited about Houston.. as a matter of fact, I was so excited I woke up with a puddle around me.

wow...3 days 23 hours and (according to the U.S. atomic clock) 33 minutes till team 108 leaves Ft. Lauderdale!

Psyched? Ohhh yeah!

This'll be my fourth national trip. I hope the people running this can outdo Disney's production! This looks like it's gonna be fun!

Nats is gonna rock this year! Arena and a stadium as the pits and the fields. And I'll finally get to meet (and see again! ::CoughLOBSTERCough:: ) some people I've been talking to on here...then again..I seem to recall something in which the last person that posted here may not want to meet me. No hard feelings here man! :p

Well I'm not psyched at all. Because I'm not going. :D I wish I could go but I'm in one of those unlucky teams who couldn't make up the money to go this year. I went last year with our neighbor 343 (Metal In Motion) But we weren't invited this year. That's alright though. I just wish I could some how make it down there. Here's to hoping for the impossible! Good luck to Metal In Motion, SPAM, M'Aiken Magic, UpStart, and why not, the rest of you too.

I'm really excited for Houston this year. Granted, Epcot has brought a lot of great memories over the years, but I'm sure Houston is not ready to dissapoint. This will be my last competition and hopefully the team's best. I only wish more people were staying in our hotel! Nationals countdown... T minus 4 days... :p

Don't say that! Aren't you going to start a new team at your college? :cool: (I'm assuming you were implying that you're graduating this year.)

I know that I'm just a bit more than psyched- I've been thinking through the whole "experience" over and over again... and I packed friday night...

I'm sooooo excited about nationals...I actually started packing a week in advance...okay, I admit it, I can be a dork at times, but I'm hoping that someone will confirm that as normal :p ....

My team's leaving a day early, so I'm REALLY excited...:D

Eek...I need to sit down now...the excitment is really getting to me...:D

Last year when I went to Nationals I packed a week in advace. :) If I was going I'd probably already be packed and counting the hours till we leave. Heheh. There's always next year. ;)

:D 4th national? GRRRR, you're only a sophomore!!!! but yes, nationals WILL rock this year, i love houston, so houston + robotics = very very happy excited Elyse!!!!!!! WHEEE!! I'm mostly packed, but since we had west michigan regional this weekend and got home late last night, i have to rewash the team shirts... i'm sad robodawgs and 902 can't attend this year, they were amazing alliance partners and just wonderful teams at WMR!! we'll miss you guys! (sorry to the drivers and crew of both teams, my dancing on the field was out of nervousness lol).

Of course!!! Yes, it is sad to be leaving the Demolition Squad; however, I am fortunate enough to be attending Cornell University who works with team 639, so I'll still have the opportunity to compete. There's no way I'm done for good...I'm a FIRST addict all the way. Yay Code Red Robotics! :)

yeah...then there's broward. we have how many teams here? lets see

1.)SigmaC@T: Dillard high school and Taravella High school with Motorola as the sponsor. Yay sigmacat!

2.)Panzer aluminum: Formaly known as team 132 (when I was on it) and 946 last year. They're 685 and teamed up with Ft. lauderdale High this year.

3.)Ely High school: They have no sponsor...poor ely :(

4.)Demolition Squad: They're from my city actually. They encompass a few private schools and anyone from parkland that wants to be on from what I've heard...

5.)Hybrid Vigor: The Coral Springs High school team. Not sure if they're around this year anymore or not. They started last year wtih a shakey start.

There may be others! Im not quite sure actually if northeast high school has a team or not anymore, but yeah, broward has quite a few teams. It was great when we ran mayhem in Miami, because we got all the teams together. The really funny part was most kids there knew each other just from being in the same county.
