Congratulations Franklin. It is great to see your team get awarded. I know the long road you guys have travelled down and how hard your team has worked.

I am sure Mrs. Clukies (one of my team's moms and a teacher in your district) will be overjoyed!!

Wedding!!! Geez- you missed the best regional in the country for a wedding? Would they notice if you skipped out? You could leave now and maybe make the closing ceremonies...

Or better yet- bring the wedding parties down to the RAC and have it during the lunch hour. That would be a first for FIRST....

other than being behind schedule yesturday and various small errors, it was fun... kind of disappointed not winning the imagery award but it was expected... for the team social, it was pasta and fried chicken... they had the i-bot and a "happy faces" video

NJ results and standings?

Hey! What's the news from Rutgers? Fans and team supporters in NW CT are dyeing to hear how team 716, the "Who's CTEKS" are doing?

Greg Needel 05-04-2003 08:47

Hey Wayne, thanks again for being our lifeline to the competition.

Usually our team leader emails us daily with pictures.

You said we won some major award, it must be, cause we ain't heard nothing since they left.

We only need one award to send us to the Nationals (or so I beleive) They must be scheming there hearts out on how to get us to Houston on 1 day's notice.

mtaman02 05-04-2003 16:36

how'd Team 371 the Curtis Cyber Warriors do!!

akwon 05-04-2003 17:21

have to thank alliance 2 for a job well done. (103 and 222) we may have only came in second but atleast we didn't go down without a fight. even though 25 had major hits on the stacks on the ramp earlier, we almost did it on the second match. good job alliance 1, thanks for an entertaining finals

peng613 05-04-2003 17:21

Congrats to North Brunswick(25) for winning the whole thing, you guys had a beautiful autonomous mode.

Good luck to everyone at Nationals, too bad Franklin doesn't have enough money to go, maybe next year.

Greg Needel 05-04-2003 17:23

do you have a run down of who won all the awards and stuff

Aignam 05-04-2003 17:30

The J&J Mid-Atlantic Regional was fantastic! Everyone there had a great time. The event winners were Teams 25, 102, and 340, and amongst the finalists were Teams 103, 87, and 222 (if my memory serves me right). Congratulations to teams 1048 and 1089, who were amongst the five outsanding rookies present at the event and both seeded high and progressed into the finals. BIG congratulations to team 103 who received the Chairmans award, the website award, and played an amazing game.
Congratulations to every other team that participated in the event, and to the team 25 drive team, for playing an outstanding game. And once again, a BIG congratulations to the team 11, 303, and 25 advisors for winning the Volunteer of the Year awards. They truly earned it.

Churchville has been talking about how they lost their sponsor and that this may be their last year. I hope that is not true because this would have been their last event, but what a great way to end it if it is. Ring up Nortel and tell them the news guys. You deserve to go!

Greg Needel 05-04-2003 21:25

I hope 340 will be at nationals and here in the future....they are an important part of the Rochester coalition.....CONGRATS team 340

Wayne C. 05-04-2003 21:55

How about the Rochester teams getting together and building a local coalition to INSURE that none of the Rochester teams die out?

The voices of many are often heard over the voice of one.

If we can help let us know.....
