Note to CD users...

Don't make it a habit of leaving yourself logged into ChiefDelphi when you're out of your own house, and expecting people.

This is FotoPlasma.

Heh ... they are much nicer than the members on my team. I constantly stay logged on at the school computers, only to find my title or signature changed when I log onto chiefdelphi the next day.

*glares at Alex*

And they are not always things you want shared with everyone.

Haha, oh well ... I do try to get even :)

*glares at alex also*

I've found an image by my name and an unexpectedly changed signature far too many times. hmm... and yet I still don't bother logging out at school. I guess it's just easier to change my sig than to log in every time.

Who would want to change my signature anyway?

kristen 05-04-2003 12:51

Out of the school tech room, I don't really worry about staying logged in. But it scares me soo much when I'm on a random computer at my school, and then I go to CD and I'm logged on. I think that it has to do w/ cookies on our personal accounts, though.

Someone could change my signature and I'd never notice. Hmm...

If you click the "Logout" button on the header ot the left of the QuickSearch, it will log you out. (Which means that it will wipe the cookie and so... you won't be logged in next time.)

However, just for those who don't know, your password or anything like that isn't stored in the cookie. All the cookie does is:
-Assists when browsing the fourms. (The new post icons)
-Keeps you logged in when you exit the browser.

You can either have one or both of those options on or off depending on how your settings are in your profile.

Haha ... my title is frequently changed by some people ... Ah well - it's my own fault for staying logged on on thier computers!

i always stay logged in at school, mainly b/c im the only one completely addicted to CD, the other guys on my team that try to compete w/ the CD usage go to a different school, so no threat there. The only person who might wander on my sn is Abe_D, and he never logs in when he browses at school, so he'd never notice it was my name :)

Since I am nice I logged you off this computer rather than post under your name.
/me thinks someone needs to take his own advice...

She was with you at the beach, while we were waiting for you to show up at your house.

I don't think Dave learned to log himself out at meetings two years ago....

Yes I did!

It only took one experience with certain blonde, er, blue, uhm, green, oy, yellow, ehh, orange-haired individuals to make me learn that lesson!
