lol :-) I think we helped a bit, and we even got a picture of our robot underneath it for our advertising us for alliance partner.

That's pretty sweet...now remove the lexan sides :D

there was a picture a while ago after building season of an arch that was built not on the ramp...so they didn't have the help of the lexan sides

yeah we built the arch with out the sides a while back, but we decided to give it a try here.

Remember, the HDPE is a much lower friction surface then what the other team built theirs on.

I think that I also remember seeing that they were on carpet which would help...:cool: I'm to lazy to find that pic.

I saw that being built and they randomly asked me to take a picture of them underneath it. 7 more pics til I finish the roll and develop it though. If you're the one who asked me to take the pic send me a message and I can mail you the picture.

thinking is bad, you might hurt yourself (or worse, us, when we bash our heads into walls next january :p).

Hmmm ... multiplier arches?? That could be interesting :D
Or perhaps we have to weave in and out of various-sized arches without knocking them over? ... in Autonomous mode??

ya yes, another arch, we actually did something like that, but ours is different, not gonna tell ya though. Think we are gonna upload the pic first, we tried going from one end of the ramp to the other, but the boxes weighed too much. We alsmot go it but it fell.

unfortunately we arnt going to nationals due to lack of funding :( although i do like that idea of the arches on the feild with penalties for knocking them over and such, although i would feel sorry for the guys that would have to continualy put them up lol.

Yah, we've gotten a lot faster at building arches. The other night at our open house, we made one with about 11 boxes in like 1 minute.
