WHERE IS IT?!?!?!?!?!?! One of my advisors went to texas with another team and he said they didnt anounce it...but i watched the closing ceremonies and dean talked about scholarships but they never said who won!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I was wanting to know the same thing. Does anyone know when they announced it last year?

last year i could have sworn they did it on friday night. I seriously think im going crazy while waiting.

When the scholarship recipient list is posted whenever, can someone do me a huge favor and please email me where I can find it to shark318@hotmail.com ? The suspense is killing me. Literally. Here comes yet another ulcer.

I thought I saw something during the webcast that scholarships would be posted online in June.

The scholarships were posted on the boards between matches all day friday and saturday, as well as on the einstein board at one time saturday. No complete list yet, that i'm aware of, but I do know one! Elyse, known on these boards as goosefrom71, was awarded one of the $32,000 Drexel scholarships. Woot! Go E!

Why don't you contact the college to which you applied? I'm sure they would love to tell you if you won or not. The colleges are probably also wondering why they haven't received acceptances (ie the recipients don't know they've won yet). Waiting til June is a bad idea, as those scholarship funds might get allocated to other students or reabsorbed into the budgets.

anyone who was at nationals have any new info now that you are most likely at home? Any information at all is good!

Speaking of scholarships, what scholarship did YOU apply for (which school really)? I applied for the Kettering University scholarship in Michigan. Just curious :)

FIST was running them on the video screen all throughtout the competition. Check the FIRST site to see if they have it listed somewhere.

if you applied for a scholarship you will hear from the university, not from FIRST, whether or not you will receive it.

I just found out that the decision for the scholarship I applied for (Kettering U.) has not been made yet and need to check back in a few days. This could be a reason a lot of people haven't heard anything from anybody yet, they haven't made the decision yet. Might be a good idea to try and find out. It took some stress away from me when I found out about this.

I also applied for the Kettering scholarship, but didn't try calling yet. I was getting anxious and still am. Thanks BigLuke for the information.

We had 2 students awarded scholarships: 1 from ASME and 1 from FIT. We found out by watching the big screen TV's in the stadium during qualifying rounds - they scrolled through all the winners in between matches all day Friday and Saturday.
