Judging in TX
 

Just wondering, for those of you who went to Houston, how many times/ how many judges stopped by your pit?
After being bombarded by judges at Great Lakes, it was a bit shocking to only have have one judge come over once to us in TX. I understand that there are more teams, but they still could've stopped by some more. How can one judge visting all the teams in a division possibly keep things straight or even get a good feel for the team?

i dont know what happen but there were only 3 judges that actually came by our pit.. one of the judge was like yaya i have listened to all these crap from you guys at the midwest regional and i was like what the heck... what the judge actually mean to say is he doesnt want to recommand us to win the leadership in control which we have got in midwest regional........................

I was usually running from our pit to the field, but I only know of 2 or 3 judges that stopped by our pit.

ya that really pissed me off

i was used to at the regionals getting to talk to a bunch of different, and INTERESTED judges, however these guys did not care whatsoever about my bot, they didnt even ask any questions, nor did they give me a hint on what they were judging so how was i to know what to tell them. some judges judge things like team building and volunteer/fundraising type work. while others are purley robotics. but you wouldn t know that talking to these guys

overall they just seemed really disinterested and didnt really care

well. for me and my partner. hehe. we only talked to 2 judges. after that we left back to the stands. so, i dont know how many did stop by. plus, it would of been harder on the judges because there was so many teams there. * pee whoo*
