Anyone else loose stuff?
 

hey, maybe its just me but alot of ppl from my team lost stuff. specially me :ahh:

i lost: my watch (reason why i buy cheap ones)
my chain (caus guard at the park made me take it off before i was allowed in and leave it on the ground, someone took it before i got back out :mad: (what jerks!) )
and my camera fell outa my bag in the airplane and so far has not been recovered.. (cry, i lost all my pics of the competition, including the pics of our team infront of the big sign, the 200th handshake, our robot doing great, and a video of the closing ceremonies)

i love photoshopping so i was really excited to have all the cool new pics, in high res too..

o well, now they are all but memories... cept for the scars on my knee from carrying our 30lb aluminum controller box.. :p

I accidently left a rug that I bought for a friend in the hotel!?!?!?!

i lost a blue nokia cell phone with ducktape on the back.

Lost your voice? I might have it somewhere...oh wait...I lost mines too...perhaps that's what airport security confiscated from me and left me a note in my luggage about taking something...maybe you left it in Houston? :D

(Sorry...Just kidding...I still have yet to regain my voice and whenever anyone mentions it, I have to make a joke about it :p )

yeah...lost my voice and my health...is anyone else sick now?? I have a super sore throat and sound like a croaking frog. But hey it was totally worth it !!!! :D

I lost a used roll of film... Price less memories gone....

I forgot a few of my delicious FIRST breakfast bags.

i lost my custom design team shirt...(sob)....
it was one of a kind, I scanned my bot art and photoshoped it and printed it on iron transfer and spent two hours ironing it and...it's gone! sob.......

I also lost half my bling, the technokats glowsticks and the beads and badges! Bah I left it in my hotel....invaluable jewels lost forever in the middle of a desolate land known as Texas....

I lost my sanity if that counts, and yea, I lost my voice and came back sick, I had to miss school monday cause I was so sick, bah. I also lost about 3 t-shirts, a pair of Pants, 7 postcards I bought there, 3 pins I bought (texas ones) 2 stuffed animals I bought, and about 50 dollars, I seem to be the master at loosing things, oh yea, I lost some friends too, bahhh. Yea, They did announce the Duct Tape phone thingy. Just write FIRST and let them know you lost it, they should mail it to you I think, they said that is what they would do if my necklace is recovered, I lost that too, and I lsot one at REgionals...Geez, oh yea, I lost a labeler, I am too forgetful...

At the WestMI regional, I had two of the inflatable airplanes that 66 was given out. They were apparently stolen - I know that they were in my bag at one point (I put them there myself), and they weren't there later (I didn't take them out). I got more at Nationals, though, so it worked out.

I lost a backpack, a lock, a Mercedes-Benz keychain, a cool Rammstein CD I bought in Germany where their name was etched onto the CD case, a few other CDs, my TI-83+ calculator, my car keys, a swiss army knife I got when I was like 7 years old, some notecards from chemistry and German, a bag of pretzels from the airplane, and I also had like 5 Autodesk bracelets stolen from me (well, sort of). Luckily I still managed to escape with one. :D

Yay! Sounds like you actually liked our planes, LoL. Team 66 seems to have misplaced something/one with your team as well. His name is Phil, and he goes to school at Kettering. If you know who im talkin about send him my way on C. Delphi!

I accidentally left my retainer on the counter of the bathroom of the hotel room, but the maids found it, and the front desk sent it back to me. Gotta give major props to the Doubletree Hotel - Allen Center staff. That would have cost me hundreds of dollars to replace.

I lost my voice.. But other than that I watched my stuff like a hawk. I was too worried about losing it.. Hope you guys can get a hold of your stuff.

I din't lose anything but one of our kids had his Discman stolen along with some other suff. That is not cool at all.

Someone on my team had stolen:

A discman, CD's, 2 Calculators, Money, and a few other things as well.

Someone aparently went into our pit (783) during our match on Saturday and emptied everything of value from his backpack.

I personally am very let down that within the FIRST community something like this can happen.

dig. cam hasnt been found yet.. i know the chain and watch are gone...

cam was 250 and antoher 90 for xd card.. :( :(

i had about 230 pictures of priceless memories that i miss more than the camera..

i bet some continental employee is chillun with it now :mad:

argg.. o well at least i still have next year to make new memories.. im sure everyone will still be awesome then.

We had a digital camera with pictures of all the Newton teams on it... It took me 4 hours to take them all... It really stinks when you have to baby-sit your pit especially at a FIRST event...
