Funny FIRST Quotes

Neil, a member of Team 1020, keeps a book in which he writes down funny quotes. The quotes include such infamous lines as:

"We'll fix it in software."

"If I was a geek, which I am..."

"Neil, I tuned you out after you said motivated."

"Purple is green, and pink is positive"
(Discussing electrical wires in the robot)

"We could have sent it in to America's Funniest...School...Robot Videos."

"If I was a geek, which I am..."

"Ouch . . . the soldering iron's still plugged in."

"Copper's conductive, right?"
(This was at our electrical meeting)

Does anyone have any others to add?

One of our engineers said in an e-mail once, "You are using rubber, which is not metal, therefore I think you are
fine."

After some two long days of working, we were hacksawing some really thin lexan, IIRC. Our freshman said, "I am stopping of the desk from moving." Won't ever forget that one.

Also, he called the soddering iron a 'cauterizing iron' on accident, and that's become the new name for it, since I burned Paul, and another team member burned me. Thus, "hand me the cauterizing iron."

"Why are there little bits of metal welded to this screw?" After the frosh and I headed over to Ga Tech one day instead of going to class for a build day. Paul walked in to find pieces of wire welded to the frame from when the frosh dropped the two leads from our battery onto the frame.

"Next year, we'll build a hovercraft."
"But it wouldn't have any traction!"
