I hugged Spicy after finals at SVR. And I petted 701's bot at Nationals...Yeah...

hehe... this is a funny one. ive done some things that i really should not say. i wonder if they got any pics of it... ;) :p

After, I think it was our fourth match in LA, we were all discussing how much better we were doing in LA than in Phoenix and i relized that it wasn't all because of us...well maybe it was, but no one was giving Jaws any credit! I told some of my friends and we all started huggin him and talling her how great he was doing...or she was doing. I think our team should discuss it's gender. LOL!:D

last year after regionals and nationals me and nicole gave fluffy a big kiss because she made us so very proud!! :p

and this year i gave twitch a kiss whenever i could... and i'm still proud regardless of how she did, b/c she's my baby!

I didn't do anything like that, but our driver kissed the robot before our last match on Friday at Nats.

I almost cried last night when the server died. :yikes:
I couldn't hug it when it came back online, though, because its in Colorado.

I told my husband I wanted to take it home and adore it. (No, husband didn't make the control board. He understood my adoration.)

No, but I've marvelled over it and dleaned it with a rag for about an hour before it shipped.....

I kissed it before we put it in the crate, and then I hugged the crate goodbye and told our robot to be careful. Plus, for a few months I was keeping an old robot in storage in my shed, so I kissed it goodnight once :)

There's a fine line between insanity and healthy obsesion with FIRST ... and sometimes I wonder which one I'm on ;)

Oh, and another thing I did at SVR...

I had to come on the second day (it wasn't my choice). So it was Friday and we had just entered the pit area. As soon as I saw my pit sign I skipped over to it, and as soon as I saw the bot I was like "Spicyeee!! Oh I missed you!!!" and proceeded skipping until I was at the pit. :p

The Beatty 2002 bot has been the object of my affection numerous times. The Beatty crate has gotten many a huggin'.

The Prank Monkey crate got hugs and snuggles both before it left, before and after St. Louis, and when it came back to Ball State. I guess I'm affectionate to my team's bots.

I have a picture (which I will not post) of Mark Whitehouse (former member of 232 and 814) doing something VERY indecent with our robot, when we had just gotten it running.

Admittedly, the first time you see a swerve drive in action, it's just amazing... But what he did... No... It was just not right at all...

Then there's that picture of Mark doing the same indecent thing to the small mill we received during the build period... oh man... so gross... I can't get that image out of my head :(

I have been talking to this girl online for awhile now and I can rember a single day that has passed that she hasnt said something about sparky. :)

At Midwest Regional (this year and last year) the girls on our team kissed the robot before every match. I think in 2002, we blew kisses the TechnoKats robot too ... except in the last match they lost. Hmmm .... :yikes:

It's not fair that kyle has a sparky team hat, and I don't. Oh well, when I find a way to move to richmond and join the team I'll have one, too :D

Why is there an obsession with Sparky?

/me has been known to start panicking and "close to tears" whenever Screamer tipped over:p ...uh...um...aside from that there's not much more *looks around and whistles*:D

Only sign of affection I've shown towards a robot is a friendly pat on the frame. OK, OK, I'll go back into my cold, dark cave like the unfeeling monster that I am. :p

'cuz they're darn sexy of course! ;o) hee hee.

...the only real sign of affection my robot got was me not touching it if I didn't have to 'cuz knowing my luck I'd probably end up exploding it or something somehow....though I did send it love letters in my mind. :p
